Chapter: Intro to Art

I have been doodling for as long as I can remember, it was something I loved to do, but I just did not know why. From drawing henna designs on notebook paper to drawing in school notebooks to finally taking art class electives in high school. But, as some artists may have heard in their lifetimes that art is good as a passion, but not as a career. I stopped making art for close to a decade.

Chapter: Art Revived

I went to college and got my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. College taught me to be more analytical, more research oriented, and more business focused. I dived back into art in mid 2023 when I decided to be vulnerable and created an instagram account to establish a portfolio of my artwork. Now in December 2024 it is known as, AP’s Artistic Journey.

The great part about this art journey is that I got to combine creative thinking and analytical thinking and blend them into creating a powerhouse mindset for my personal journey. A journey to continue growing, continue being more vulnerable, continue learning and continue striving to be imperfectly impeccable (a new mantra for me).

​

Now I have the goal to create a career out of my passion and love for art, a combination of art and business. A strive to achieve goals of creating innovative art designs, and establishing a footing in the world of surface pattern designing, art licensing, print-on-demand and more to come.
